Around the Garcia's Part, the finale.

One of my favorite parts about Christmas (and Thanksgiving) are when my mom sets up the Christmas table long before the 24th. Through the years the six place setting has been whittled down to four due to various mishaps occurring during our moves from city to city. The one constant variable? The tablecloth. It's such a vital piece to the puzzle that we're not allowed to eat on it come Christmas dinner.

Actually, now that I think about it, we have ever used our Christmas china...?

Merry Christmas everybody! May you spend the day surrounded by those you love the most.

On a side note, I couldn't end my Christmas "series" without leaving you all with:

Two years ago a co-worker gave me this cute little ornament during our Secret Santa exchange. Needless to say, it was love at first sight!

so many items to comment on:

the tablecloth: exact same situation at the schroder household.
the china: we use ours, and sometimes even when it is not christmas??
hello kitty: that co-worker really knew his/her audience.

wonderful series! i'm looking forward to the next!!
