I'm currently in Hermosillo, Sonora visiting my mom's side of the family. A the eldest of 13 cousins, I usually end up twiddling my thumbs as my younger cousins watch Hannah Montana or play video games. It's trange how I identify most with the 7 and 5 year old boys...
One thing all us Camou cousins can get on board with however? Movies. So last night, we went off to Plaza Sendero where we proceeded to watch James Cameron new film, Avatar.
Oh.
My.
Goodness.
It was awesome! I went in not knowing anything about it, other than seeing the blue alien/man on the movie poster. I'm grateful for going in unaware because I really do think it amplified the epic-ness of the film for me. From beginning to end, I could hardly take a breath I was completely entranced. I will not go into detail as to plot or effects. Just trust me, and go see it. Preferably 3-D. I'm hoping to catch the neat-o glasses version when I'm back in the U.S. of A.
3 more days until the new year!

Thanks for all of the movie recommendations Dahnya! I added nearly all of them to my Blockbuster queue!
i'll go watch avatar in 3d with you, dahnya!
i was initially opposed based solely on the fact that the 'blue aliens looked lame', but after hearing so many good things about the movie...i am intrigued!
I agree Pandi, it was a great movie, I didn't even go to get pop corn, that tells a lot.
Happy and blessed 2010!
Hugs,
Dad
