Commercial holiday, debunked.

February 14th is around the corner and in my mind it is not just a commercial holiday! It is a day to celebrate love and friendship. Fran and I have yet to set any plans in stone (we'd toyed with NOLA for the weekend, Sgt. Doakes may crimp our style) but I am on the hunt for postal greetings.

Nerdy and sweet. Just my type.

Is it just me or is anyone spotting Fran's chin in these sketches?

Love. But, too cheesy for my hubs in all likelihood.

Keep an eye on your mailboxes in the next few weeks. Something is sure to strike my fancy! In the meantime, any day trip ideas near Houston? If nothing else, I have definitely found a sweet project to attempt and share for the day.

Yeah Heidi, I love my in-laws but I don't know if they are ready for the Sarge. He might eat Bimbo.

Emily, I wish Dahnya would want to go to the brewery for Valentine's Day.

I'd say let us love everyday, commerce takes advantage of this day to get into our pockets. Just left our credit cards thin thanks to Christmas, now February the 14th, then Easter, in the meantime your Mom's birthday, it just never ends, ahhhh IRS.....ufff.

Hugs, love everyday, not just 2/14
