Picture madness!

I am on a quest.

Not too difficult of one, just pricier than I ever could have imagined. I am no longer satisfied with uploading pictures from my camera to my computer to facebook. I cannot savor them the way I do whenever I first eye a shot. Therefore, my new quest is to print out my favorite pictures of trips, travels and adventures.

Tonight I sent off for the Marfa & Seattle trips. They set me back forty plus bucks. Whoever would have thought pictures would be that much on the Walgreen's website?! Any recommendations to a higher quality printer or at the very least a bit more wallet-friendly, please share your tips. They will be more than welcome.

My suggestion:

Become paperless, select the best ones, and you can train yourself by looking with the feature of "extra large icons." I think that the problem is that you became so good taking pictures that it is becoming difficult. But for example, from the ones you posted here, I would not print any, my preference is of those pictures with vivid colors.

When you want to print, see the backyard, and feel bad for those poor trees :-(D

(1) These photos are BEAUTIFUL.

(2) I have 8x10s (or is it 8x11s) all over my room of shots that I've taken over the years. I can't remember the service I used. However, I remember googling "photo printing cost comparison." Or something like that to compare sites. I used snapfish a couple of times. I think they're cheaper than walgreens, but definitely not the cheapest around. I remember the google search coming up with some valuable information. Sorry that this was vague!
Ultimately though, this stuff does get expensive. But I think it's worth the cost because the pictures are beautiful reminders of your life.

(3) It was really great to see you yesterday! You are looking so beautiful! Keep up the great work.

Leila, thanks for the google advice- so simple, so genius. And, thanks for being a constant inspiration for me. Seriously.
