Baby fever*!

If there's one thing I love more than anything, it's planning- to take an idea and watch it expand. Putting things in motion and watching them grow is what life is all about but when people you love come into play, it makes everything that much more special. There's a lovely lady I know who is awaiting a bouncing baby boy in the near future and I am itching to celebrate her & baby Ethan! Time to go make lists and plan for a dear friend.

Any ideas or suggestions are more than welcome, please.

*Get your mind out of the gutter. Fran & I are not in baby mode. As cute as babies are with their irresistible gurgles, chortles and undeniably sweet smell, I work with the consequences on a daily basis. If that's not the most effective birth control, then I'm a sadist. It'll be many years before baby Giampietro makes an appearance. Until then I will happily enjoy baby sitting for my nearest and dearest.

Definitely the most effective birth control. My nephew is also one. Love him dearly, but he is GO GO GO GO GO GO GO, non-stop. I told my sister I didn't have the capability to keep up. I'll catch him in a year or two, ha!

Ideas? Etsy. Fabulous fabrics to create adorable receiving blankets. Cloth diapers and a pail to hold bleachwater (you rinse, simmer in bleach, then wash).

Being a pediatric nurse is the best. birth control. ever. All I do all day is deal with babies that won't stop crying... and teens that are stupid enough to overdose on ecstasy or whatever else is newest "trend" is.

I have tons of ideas for you (gift ideas) but I want to tell you in person so it doesn't ruin any surprises!
