Merry movies

Today is Room 196's Christmas party. In order to get the food (and tons of desserts) set up, I need a little time to get the kids settled. What better way to entertain them than the boob tube? It got me thinking of Christmas movies that I cannot do without every December (or, for some, throughout the year).

1. Love actually* (one of my top 5 in life)
2. While you were sleeping* (again, one of my top 5 in life)
3. Home Alone
4. Rudolph, the red nosed reindeer (claymation rocked my world as a kid)
5. National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation (the culprit to my tree-cutting dream)
6. Elf

*will watch every month of the year and want to set up the tree.

Do you have any recommendations?

one of the shaw family traditions is to watch an old vhs recorded off tv version of "the best christmas pageant ever" on christmas eve. it's classic!

ps - love actually is definitely one of my favorite movies of all time too!

Scrooged!

Claymation freaked me out...and still does. That abominable snowman still scares me!!!!

And I hate...repeat, HATE...A Christmas Story. I mean, gives me a stomachache hate.

Just had to say...haha.
