Red carpet lovelies

Due to having no cable (in favor of uber high speed internet) at Mildred, I contented myself by pouring over the gossip websites (mainly E! and Perez) for a sneak peek of the dresses at the red carpet. Here are a few of my favorites, in no particular order:

Mila Kunis: I am in love with the uber feminity of the dress and soft color. With the drapes and lace it reminds me of The Great Gatsby but with a twist.

Anne Hathaway: I know, I know. The butt poof is a bit much. But, I must confess, there is something about this form fitting siren's dress that I am loving. I can't quite put my finger on it, it could be the fact that I cannot pull off red lipstick...

Hailee Steinfeld: It is sweetly feminine and reminiscent of Ms. Aubrey Hepburn. It reminded me a teeny bit of the pinwheel tea dress on anthro's wedding line:

Makes me long to hold a city hall wedding anniversary celebration...Fran? Please?

Mila and Hailee's dresses are definitely on my favorite list. I also love Amy Adam's sparkly blue dress, Natalie's fuschia dress, and Reese's classic b&w dress [it looks so vintage!].

I agree with Emily and her pick of Natalie and Reese's dresses, but I have to say, Mila's lace threw me off a little bit. The lace was so light against her skin, I thought for a while she had tattoos on her breasts (I know, sounds crazy, but it's hollywood, and I wouldn't put it past some people). I love how all the dresses seem to be going back to vintage. I was watching E! and they were all excited about Gwenneth's dress, but to me she looked like a tall disco ball (although, the color is nice on her).

At first glance I thought the same thing Meg!

I'll have to go back and check on Paltrow's look (she's never one of my faves...too pale).
