Day 5.

Thanks to the sound fashion advice from various ladies, I attempted to conquer the missing case of my future gold flats with absolute no luck. Again.

However, I did find that the outlets had a good amount of sales that led to me being a bit overly zealous with our bank account. Again. Otherwise:

After a year of avoiding the dreaded blast of air in my eyes, I sucked it up and visited Dr. Farmer (she's amazing, I've been going to her for 5 years now and is one of the nicest people I've met)

Cupcakes for St. Paddy's day.

The discovery that the Frosted Betty bakery is opening up in two weeks- ice cream parlor included! Doakes and I will be steady clients come the summertime.

And, an alien invader.

As you can tell my fascination with instagram shows no waning interest hence the random twists and turns with the photos.

Which reminds me, while perusing my google reader I finally found an idea that I liked from the YHL peeps (love their posts, not so huge a fan of their style). I'm going to start hunting for funky, ornate frames and see if I can get Fran to jump on this bandwagon. Wish me luck. He hates the cheese factor prefering "edgy art". Probably not really his words but, more than likely, if I love it. He hates it. Ugh. Boys.

Two days before work kicks back into action. Must go back to savoring the act of doing: nothing. Ah...

When you wrote "Dr. Farmer," did you mean Dr. Juliet Farmer? If so… I miss her! I get my eyes checked at the Eyemasters on Westheimer, and when I went to reorder contacts a few months ago, I was sad to see her name no longer on the door.

Your outlet loot looks cute! Hope you find your replacement gold flats soon!

Target has some peeptoe gold flats but not nearly as cute as yours were. But I did find some other cute sandals at Target this past weekend. :-) Love me some Tarjet.

Frosted Betty homemade ice cream? I think I might have to give that a go, but I will no longer purchase their cupcakes...not with the deliciousness of Mmm...Cupcake under my belt. I will eventually take a random day off and when that occurs, you and I will go hunt down the truck and you will struggle to ever return to Frosted Betty OR Crave again.

Cheers, friend!
